We're all familiar with the shortfalls of AI and Google Translate, but it’s also worth bearing in mind that being bilingual doesn’t necessarily mean you can translate, nor does being a native speaker mean you can produce high-quality texts. How do you guarantee the quality of your work?
In addition to my translation education and years of experience in the language industry, I am a member of various associations, such as Mediterranean Editors and Translators and Nordic Editors and Translators. These associations provide me with continuous professional development opportunities and a network of other language professionals.
I never compromise on quality and I reinforce this value using a number of resources, such as CAT Tools (Trados Studio), QA and proofreading software, and corpora.
How long will my project take?
As every project is unique, the turnaround time will vary depending on a number of factors, including the length of the text, the subject matter and the format. I will be happy to give you a realistic estimated delivery date with the quote and I always stick to my deadlines.
How much will the service cost?
I have competitive rates which vary depending on the subject matter, length and format of the text, as well as the urgency of the project. Please get in touch for a quote, including as much detail as possible and, where possible, a sample of the text.
Do you work with companies or private individuals?
While many of my clients are companies and agencies, I also have a strong client base of private individuals. I pride myself on the friendly and personalised service I provide both to businesses and individuals.
Where are you based?
I am currently based in Espoo, Finland, but I work with clients around the world as my services are location independent. I accept payment in euros, pounds and US dollars via TransferWise, PayPal and bank transfer.
